There is a new BETA release of version 1.4.0 of MiniReq, the sucessor to the ReqNG ticket-tracking system which I have been working on, at: http://www.draga.com/~jwise/minireq Highlights of the 1.4.0 release: * Massive code cleanup/modernization * Greatly simplified configuration and installation process This BETA fixes some compatibility problems with perl-5.6.0, and makes the default command line syntax more consistent. In particular, req is now invoked using a CVS-like syntax, to whit: req The old syntax (req -command) is still supported, as is gnu-style invocation (req --command). Notably missing in this release are: * The various web and gui interfaces shipped with ReqNG * Any expectations of bug-freeness. This is an ALPHA release. * The full breadth of the ReqNG project. see README for details. * A web page or better documentation Feel free to play with this, it certainly installs with fewer problems than ReqNG, and works well enough that I am using it here.
